I Call This Dessert the Gluten Free “Whatchamacallit”

Not to be confused with the candy bar. This cookie thingy is a little gluten free experiment.

Start by melting white and semi-sweet chocolate. Microwave for 45 seconds and stir. Give it another 30-45 seconds and stir until smooth.

Mix the melted chocolate with puffed rice cereal, dried cherries and slivered almonds.

Once everything is mixed together, drop the cookies on a baking sheet covered in parchment. Then chill these for a while in the refrigerator.

Gluten Free No Bake Whatchamacallits

There are some pros and cons to this dessert:

Pros: gluten free (serious pro if you’re allergic), no bake (another serious pro if it’s 100°, super easy, love the dried cherries.

Cons: not that pretty, not that memorable.
